 DECEMBER

1- An online meeting among partner teachers will be held to determine the project activities.

(Dear partners, pls click on the link below, write your name to the exact time periods on the schedule in order to decide when we can hold an online meeting.The schedule is according to the CET! So pls check the time difference between CET and your local time.)

2- Students and teachers will create online new year cards and send them to each other. Each student of a partner school will be in an international group and send his/her new year card to other group members. We will use iwishyouto.com for this activity.

3- Students will find an adjective with the initial letter of their names and use this adjective phrase while introducing themselves via web 2.0 tool "Chatterpix". For ex: "Hello, my name is Positive Pelin. I am .... years old. etc"

4- Teachers will create an online game about matching the correct adjectives with the students' names. We can use Wordwall for this activity.

5- Students, parents and teachers will fill in the pre-surveys of our project. Teachers can explain the sentences to the students and parents in their mother tongue.

6- Teachers will inform the parents about the parental consent forms and upload the signed forms in a collage to the e-safety page.

 

JANUARY

1- Teachers will sign up on https://www.pixton.com/ and create an avatar of themselves first. Then they will also create a classroom as educators and usernames for their little eTwinners;)

2- Students will use the nicknames to join their teacher's online classroom on https://www.pixton.com/ . They will also create an anatar of themselves via Pixton and write an acrostic for their names.

3-  Teachers will create  an online game with the students' names and their acrostics . We can use Cram for this activity.

4-  Students will be put into mixed country teams and the members of the same team will draw a collaborative picture on https://awwapp.com/ . The pictures will be used in our 2021 calender ;)    

5-  Students will search for information about partner countries (location, flag, language etc) and prepare a short speech for the 2nd international meeting which will be held with students.  

 

FEBRUARY

1-  Teachers will organize pupils into international teams to research about the families of the leaders / celebrities of partner schools' countries / cartoon characters. Each team will write information about that person's or cartoon character's family on an e-book , they can draw family trees or upload their own drawings of that character.    

 

MARCH

1-  Students will design a collaborative logo with a web 2.0 tool.  

 

APRIL

1-  Students will  act like the presenters of a weather forecast  and talk about weather conditions in their countries. They'll record short videos and tell how the weather is and ask "How is the weather in .....? / What's the weather like in ....?".

2-  These videos will be added to each other and form a joint video clip of weather conditions 

 

MAY

1-  Students will meet online and talk about their favorite toys . They will tell the physical appearances of their toys to other partner students. 

2-  Students, parents and teachers will fill in the post-surveys of our project. Teachers can explain the sentences to the students and parents in their mother tongue.
